Mustapha “Yankie” Haruna is a former professional basketball player turned coach who brings his playing experience and passion for teaching to the next generation of athletes.

Yankie grew up in Parsippany, New Jersey, and went on to play college basketball for the College of St. Benilde in the Philippines, where he won the NCAA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest in 2016. His professional career included stops with teams in the PBA D-League, the MPBL, and the PBA, where he was drafted 21st overall by the Magnolia Hotshots in 2019.

After his pro career, Yankie transitioned into coaching. Today, he works with youth athletes, focusing on basketball skills, strength, and confidence development. Through his coaching, Yankie helps players not only improve their game but also build discipline, resilience, and a love for the process.
